Statement by France at the Sixth Session of the Conference on the Establishment of a Middle East Zone Free of Nuclear Weapons and Other WMD

France, in its statement, advocates a realistic and gradual approach to nuclear disarmament, promoting measures such as universalising the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT), initiating negotiations on a Fissile Material Cut-off Treaty (FMCT), and supporting the establishment of NWFZ.
