Bahrain emphasises the importance of cooperation in peaceful uses of nuclear energy among member states and the utilisation of a legally binding mechanism for protecting nuclear safety and security. It stresses the need for ensuring compliance  and transparency in nuclear programs to foster confidence among states of the region.
