Statement by Saudi Arabia at the 2020 NPT RevCon

The statement expressed regret about the indefinite postponement of the 2012 conference, which was called for in the 2010 Action Plan adopted in the NPT Final Document. The postponement violated the action plan adopted by the review process. The statement emphasised the failure of the JCPOA and Israel's failure to join the NPT and subjecting its facilities to IAEA safeguards as obstacles that cannot be overlooked.
