Statement by Lebanon at the 2020 NPT RevCon

The statement issued by Lebanon at the General Debate of the Tenth NPT RevCon emphasised its renewed commitment to the implementation of the 1995 Middle East resolution to establish an ME WMD Free Zone. The statement also calls on the three sponsor states of the 1995 resolution to translate their commitments into steps and implement the resolution to establish the zone. The statement also welcomes the successful outcome of the first and second sessions of the UNGA-mandated ME WMD Free Zone Conference.
