League of Arab States ME WMDFZ draft treaty

In accordance with its resolution 5380, the League of Arab States established a high-level committee comprised with experts of international law and military affairs. The experts drafted a treaty establishing a WMDFZ in the Middle East as well as formulated recommendations presented during the 1995 NPT Review and Extension Conference. The 1995 ME WMDFZ draft was published by Al-Ittihad newspaper in Abu Dhabi.
