US Opening Remarks at the 2015 NPT RevCon

This statement was presented by United States Secretary of State John Kerry at the 2015 NPT Review Conference. In his statement, Mr. Kerry outlines US committment to the NPT, and emphasized that they are “firmly committed” to hold the Conference “provided that the terms for the conference would be agreed to by all regional states.” He also underlined that “there is no prospect for engagement or agreement absent the consent of the states involved.”
