2009 IAEA GC Resolution on "Israeli nuclear capabilities"

This resolution on "Israeli nuclear capabilities" was adopted at the 2009 IAEA General Conference. Similar to the agenda item "Israeli nuclear capabilities and threat" discussed at previous General Conferences, the 2009 resolution called on Israel to place all nuclear facilities under IAEA safeguards, on the IAEA Director General to monitor and report on Israeli nuclear activities, and reiterated that unsafeguarded nuclear facilities were not conducive to the establishment of a Middle East WMD-free zone.
