UNSC Syrian draft resolution calling on all ME states to accede to all arms control and non-proliferation regimes

The Syrian draft resolution at the UN Security Council emphasized the role of the UNSC in adopting a global approach to countering the spread of WMD in the Middle East; urged the implementation of all UNSC relevant resolutions; called upon all the states of the Middle East to accede to the NPT, CTBT, BWC and CWC and requested the UNSG to submit a report on the implementation of the resolution.
